What you buy

• Human clicks, not impressions. You only pay when a real visitor opens your campaign.
• Three placements: the top banner, the “Featured” carousel and the campaign grid.
• Your price, your budget. You set the maximum price per click, from €0.20 to €5 excluding VAT, and a daily budget from €5 excluding VAT. You often pay less than your maximum price: only what it takes to keep your slot.
• A clear ad. Your card carries the label “Sponsored by” followed by your name. Clippers know who funds the campaign.

Why it is safe

• Robots pay nothing. On /discover, about 94% of clicks came from robots (measured on October 23, 2026). That is why every click goes through a 24-hour check before it is billed. Robots, bursts and duplicates are discarded, and you do not pay for them.
• One visitor, one paid click. The same visitor is billed only once per 24-hour period on your ad.
• A click found fraudulent afterwards is re-credited, and your reports show it.
• Your credit is refundable. Paid credit does not expire. When you close your account, what is left is refunded to you, VAT included, and we cover the payment fees.
• You never exceed your budget. Spending is spread over the day, and nothing is spent beyond the daily budget.
• Clear reports. Impressions, billed clicks, cost, clicks under review and discarded clicks, day by day, exportable as CSV.

How to get started

During the pilot, these steps open by invitation: email us to join the pilot.

1. Create your advertiser account from your StreamClipping account, in Clipping Track, under “Ads”.
2. Prove the campaign is yours. Clipping platform: a code sent to an address on your domain is enough. Brand: send a request and the team checks it. Campaign launched on StreamClipping: it is yours automatically.
3. Top up your credit, from €50 excluding VAT, by card. You receive an invoice.
4. Set your bids and your budget, placement by placement.
5. Your account is approved within 2 business days. Your ads then enter the auction within a minute.

Frequently asked questions

Who can advertise?

Clipping platforms and brands with a campaign listed on /discover, once they have proven they own it. Advertising is reserved for professionals. A campaign has only one advertiser at a time. StreamClipping customers can also promote their own campaigns, under the same rules.

Can I promote a campaign that is not on /discover?

No. The ad is your campaign's card in the directory. If the campaign ends or leaves the directory, the ad stops and nothing more is billed.

How much does a click cost?

At least €0.20 excluding VAT and at most the maximum price you set, up to €5. The actual price depends on the other advertisers on the same placement and on the quality of your ad: an ad that interests visitors can pay less.

What is a human click?

A click made by a real visitor, after a real mouse or touch gesture, from an ad they have seen. We check every click for 24 hours. So as not to help fraudsters, we do not publish the details of our rules; your reports show the total of discarded clicks in three families: robots or fraud, duplicates, over budget.

Can I target a country or a type of visitor?

No. Ads target no one: all visitors see the same ads at the same time. You choose the placement and the price.

What happens during approval?

You can set everything up and top up your credit. Nothing is shown before approval, which comes within 2 business days. If your account is refused, all your top-ups are refunded in full.

Can I get my credit back?

Yes. Paid credit does not expire and is refunded when you close your account, VAT included, once the last clicks have been checked. Credit offered by StreamClipping is used first and is not refundable.

How does invoicing work?

You pay a top-up by card. VAT is added according to your country; with a valid EU VAT number, the invoice is issued without VAT (reverse charge). Each top-up has its invoice, in your statement.

Which campaigns are refused?

Gambling, forex and leveraged trading, speculative crypto-assets, prediction markets, adult content and pyramid selling.

Will my campaign rank higher in the rest of the directory?

No. Paying gives access to the sponsored slots, labelled as such. The ranking of the other cards and the team's editorial picks cannot be bought.
