Our approach

Live clipping or VOD clipping?

They complete each other. Live clipping cuts the big moments as they happen, one by one, while the stream runs. VOD clipping then goes back over the full recording and pulls up to 30 clips out of it, with the benefit of seeing the whole session.

A good habit: capture live to post two or three clips during the stream, then run the VOD the next day to feed the week. Live capture has its own monthly counter; the clips it produces count against your video minutes like any VOD clip.

Your call. You can approve each clip by hand in your studio, or turn on AutoPilot so it schedules publishing on TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels while you stream.
How does the AI pick the moments during the live?+
It reads two signals as the stream goes: audio peaks (shouts, laughs, rage) and chat velocity. A moment that clearly breaks the usual rhythm of the stream triggers a clip; the transcript is then made on that passage to place the captions and the hook. If you run a regular clipping after the live, the engine goes back over the full VOD with audio, transcript and, on Pro and Elite, frames.
