Flat fee or pay per view

Trend since collection began
Open campaigns and median rate on the 1st of each month and on the day of the latest calculation, rebuilt from the open and close dates of the campaigns in the directory, which has been collecting since July 2, 2026.
| Date | Open campaigns | Median rate |
|---|---|---|
| 381 | 1.00 $ | |
| 283 | 1.00 $ | |
| 581 | 1.25 $ |
The campaign count does not only measure the market: it also follows new sources joining the directory and its cleanups, which close expired campaigns in batches. Month to month, compare the median rate, not the volume.
Methodology
Where the campaigns come from
StreamClipping AI reads the public pages of paid clipping platforms (7 sources represented today: ContentRewards, PostRoyalty, Promote.fun, Real Oficial, ViewPaid, ViewX, and Vyro) and lists each campaign in its directory. The index counts the open campaigns in that directory at the time of calculation. Campaigns published directly on StreamClipping AI are left out: the index measures the market, not our own offer.
What is counted
The rate is what the campaign posts per 1,000 views (the CPM). The median, the quartiles (p25, p75) and the ninth decile (p90) are real rates from the catalog, taken by rank, never interpolated values: with an even number of campaigns, the median is the lower of the two middle values. Many campaigns post exactly the same rate, so the share between p25 and p75, like the share at p90 or more, is counted campaign by campaign and shown as is. An average would be pulled up by a few outliers: the median shows what a clipper actually runs into.
Currencies
Only rates posted in US dollars enter the calculation. Campaigns paid in another currency count as open campaigns, with no conversion.
Limits
A posted rate is not guaranteed income: each campaign sets its own rules (minimum view threshold, approved content, per-creator cap, a budget that runs out). No figure is published below 10 campaigns. The trend is an approximation: a campaign counts as open between its collection date and its close date, and when the close was not timestamped, the last time it was seen online is used instead.
Updates
The figures are recalculated roughly every half hour. Last calculation: October 1, 2026.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a clipper earn per 1,000 views?
According to the StreamClipping AI paid clipping rate index (October 1, 2026), a clipping campaign pays a median of 1.25 $ per 1,000 views. Among campaigns with a posted rate, 71% pay between 1.00 $ and 2.00 $, and 13% pay 3.00 $ or more. These are posted rates: only views that meet the campaign rules (minimum threshold, approved content) get paid.
Which platform pays best for clipping?
According to the StreamClipping AI paid clipping rate index, campaigns that accept X (Twitter) show the highest median rate: 1.50 $ per 1,000 views, across 88 campaigns. Campaigns on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube sit at 1.25 $. The gap is small, and a single campaign often accepts several platforms.
Is a flat fee or a CPM payout better?
Pay per view dominates: 97% of open campaigns in the StreamClipping AI index pay on a CPM basis, meaning an amount per 1,000 views. None currently pays a flat fee per post. With a CPM, earnings follow views: a clip that takes off pays more, and a clip that stays under the campaign threshold pays nothing.
How many views do you need to make 100 $ clipping?
At the median rate of 1.25 $ per 1,000 views measured by StreamClipping AI, you need about 80,000 paid views to make 100 $. Treat it as an order of magnitude: on a campaign paying 2.00 $, it takes about 50,000, and only views that pass the campaign rules count.
