The last ZEvent ever ended in the night of Sunday to Monday, and the counter stopped at 32 891 874 €. That is not a record nudged forward. That is the 2025 record, which was already the world best for an online charity marathon, beaten by 16 712 778 €. Ten editions, one final number, and a French streaming era closing on a figure nobody in the room seriously predicted on Friday evening.
If you have been following the whole run with us, our day 3 recap had the counter at a very different place. If you are landing here cold, the pillar piece on ZEvent 2026 explains what this event is, why the tenth edition is the last, and how the whole thing works.

Where the counter landed
Our reading was taken on Monday 7 September at 13:34 UTC, which is 15:34 in Paris. By then the official ZEvent site was already offline, zero streamers were live, and the participant list had settled at 340 registered creators. The counter read 32 891 874 €.
For context, here is the comparison that matters. The 2025 edition raised 16 179 096 € in under 60 hours with 327 streamers, and that was the world record for an online charity marathon. Double 16 179 096 € and you get 32 358 192 €. The 2026 total sits above that. The final edition did not beat the record, it lapped it.
The other number worth staring at is the delta with our own Sunday reading. When we published the day 3 article, the counter showed 14 105 645 €. Between that reading and this one, 18 786 229 € came in. More than half of the entire final total landed after our Sunday snapshot. If you went to bed early on Sunday, you missed the majority of this ZEvent by value.
Ten years, one line at a time
The run reads like a curve that kept refusing to flatten:
- 2016: 170 770 €
- 2017: 451 851 €
- 2018: 1 094 731 €
- 2019: 3 509 878 €
- 2020: 5 724 377 €
- 2021: 10 064 480 €
- 2022: 10 182 126 €
- 2023: no edition, which is why the tenth falls in 2026
- 2024: 10 145 881 €, with 135 streamers
- 2025: 16 179 096 €, with 327 streamers
- 2026: 32 891 874 €, with 340 registered
Before this weekend, the ZEvent had gathered 57 523 190 € across nine editions. Add 2026 and the ten year total comes to 90 415 064 €, split across the 22 associations the event has supported since 2016.

The counters that carried it
The individual leaderboard is where the story gets specific.
Mastu finished first with 5 390 152 €. For readers outside the French scene: Mastu is a YouTuber turned streamer with a very young, very mobilised audience, and he built his weekend around a raffle of unique physical lots. French and international press covering the close, including jeuxvideo.com and Les Gens d'Internet, described the collection as running to 40 items, among them a signed Inception script and a piece of a Spider-Man costume. Every reveal was a self-contained sequence with a build, a payoff and a reaction. That is not an accident, that is a format designed to produce moments.
Domingo took second with 4 697 097 €. He has been at or near the top of this leaderboard for years, and losing the crown on the final edition is itself part of the story. ZeratoR, who co-created the event in 2016 with Alexandre "Dach" Dachary, finished third on 1 541 975 €.
Behind them: Antoine Daniel cleared the million with 1 033 260 €, Joueur_du_Grenier on 677 480 €, Florence on 659 966 €, Anyme023 on 632 564 € and mcflyetcarlito on 625 529 €.
One donation goal worth flagging. Anyme had publicly attached a stream from space to a 200 000 € personal counter, and a solo stream from a desert island to 1 000 000 €. His counter closed at 632 564 €, so the first tier cleared comfortably and the second did not. What happens with that promise now is between him and his audience, and we are not going to speculate on a delivery date.
What this weekend actually teaches you
Three things, and none of them are about the money.
Peaks do not distribute evenly across a marathon. More than half the total landed in roughly the last 24 hours. The same shape applies to attention, to chat velocity, to clip-worthy sequences. If you plan your clipping window as "the whole event, evenly", you burn your effort on the flat part. Learning to spot where the density sits is the actual skill, and our guide to detecting a strong moment in a VOD is built around exactly that problem.
Scripted reveal formats are clip factories. A raffle lot, a tier unlock, a challenge validated on stream: each one has a clean in-point, a payoff and a reaction shot. That structure is why StreamClipping's detection is multi-modal, reading audio, vision and transcript together rather than just chasing a volume spike. A silent reveal with a face doing all the work would slip past an audio-only trigger.
The archive is now the only source. The lives are over. 340 registered creators, more than 50 hours of broadcast, and everything that is left lives in VODs and in your own recordings. If you streamed a watch party this weekend, that file is your raw material for the next two weeks, not a dead asset. Turning one long VOD into a stack of short clips is the entire exercise, and our piece on repurposing VODs into short form covers the workflow.
And the line that has not moved once all week: you do not repost the official feed. The footage belongs to the ZEvent and its broadcasters, and the opening concert on 3 September at the Sud de France Arena in Montpellier stacks music rights on top of that. Press coverage noted that Gims cancelled on health grounds and that Gazo and Bigflo & Oli played anyway, which changes nothing about the rights situation. What you can clip is your own watch party, your own reaction, your own take on the numbers. If you are unsure where the line sits on audio specifically, our breakdown of music rights in clips is the place to start.

What happens next
The funds go to the 22 associations. The organisers said in May that this was the end of the format, and nothing we have read announces a successor, so we are leaving that blank rather than filling it with a guess.
For you, the practical horizon is shorter. The reaction and analysis window on an event like this stays open for a few days, then closes hard. If you have footage from your own weekend, cut it now, not next Sunday. If you do not, the rest of the autumn calendar is already lining up, and our 2026 events calendar for clippers has the dates.

In summary
The tenth and final ZEvent closed at 32 891 874 €, read at 13:34 UTC on Monday 7 September 2026 with the site already offline. That beats the 2025 record of 16 179 096 € by 16 712 778 € and pushes the ten year total to 90 415 064 € for 22 associations. Mastu topped the individual counters on 5 390 152 €, ahead of Domingo on 4 697 097 € and ZeratoR on 1 541 975 €. More than half the final total arrived after our Sunday reading, which is the single most useful lesson of the weekend for anyone whose job is to be watching at the right moment.
If you want to work through your own recordings from the weekend, StreamClipping's free plan gives you 15 minutes of video per month for life with no card required, plus 7 days of Elite when you create your account. Detection is multi-modal across audio, vision and transcript, exports come in 9:16 and 16:9, AutoPilot handles the repetitive passes, and /discover lists campaigns that pay on views.
